The position will be primarily based in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin at HPE's top HPC factory (High Performance Computer) where we build the world's fastest supercomputers. ** In a typical day as a Business Systems Engineer, you would:
*** Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
* As required, maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
* Manage business configurations for the manufacturing execution system (MES) and ERP System (SAP).
* Writing business requirement documents for IT to develop and improve our system architecture.
* Conduct user acceptance testing of all new code developments deploys for accuracy.
* Enable new products at the manufacturing facility by managing product set ups and virtual/pilot builds.
* Troubleshoot system issues that arise from operations.
* Access and pull data from various databases and translate the data to an acceptable form for engineering and business teams to drive improvements.
* Represent Manufacturing in various related projects and initiatives.
