Utility Operator - Nights

Responsibilities

• Package and label finished product according to customer/in‑house requirements and packaging standards.
• Verify packaged products are accurately reflected on the packaging labels.
• Transport and convey raw materials from the storage area to the elevator and send them to the hopper.
• Operate a forklift accurately, safely, and efficiently.
• Maintain resin/additive levels in blenders and hoppers.
• Perform hopper/blender changeovers upon notification from production set‑up.
• Handle and document loose roll scrap for disposition as directed by the production supervisor.
• Set up and operate production utility machinery per specifications.
• Adhere to Amcor Life Safety Rules and all safety policies, reporting all maintenance and safety issues immediately.
• Participate in continuous improvement of operations.
• Identify quality defects in finished goods.
• Promote the establishment and reinforcement of a high‑performance work team environment.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and clean areas as needed.
• Perform and assist in other tasks as directed by supervision/management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Proficient in forklift operation.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot, multitask, and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to interface with employees at all levels within the facility.
• Demonstrated passion for safety and continuous improvement.
• Desire to advance within the organization.
• Positive attitude, motivated, and strong communication skills.
• Reliable with a strong attendance record.

• Work at the Chippewa Falls, WI facility and be accessible to employees on a regular basis.
• Offset hours may be required to accommodate multiple shifts.
