Senior Hardware Network Fabric Development Engineer

Hardware Fabric Signal Engineer - design, simulate, validate, debug, and optimize high-performance electrical systems for industry-leading supercomputer systems.

• Design and assess industry-leading 100+ gigabit/s electrical and optical links and memory interface channels
• Create simulation models, plan and execute simulation suites
• Correlate models to measured laboratory results
• Create PCB signal integrity design rules, stackup, and connector pinout recommendations
• Track and drive the resolution of electrical issues, execute hands-on testing and debugging to root cause
• Create documentation, test plans, and test reports

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering
• 10+ years of experience in high-performance electrical design
• Experience with Ethernet or Infini Band components and systems, and key performance metrics
• Experience with Signal Integrity
• Experience RF and microwave design is preferred, but not required
• Experience with 3D modeling tools such as HFSS is highly preferred

• Experience using electrical design tools and software packages such as Ansoft, HFSS, Allegro
• Knowledge of signal integrity design concepts
• Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in at least one common scripting language is a plus (e.g., Perl, Bash, Python)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
