Dry Lab Associate

Dry Lab Associates perform testing of printed circuit board products within the dry lab department. The role requires strong attention to detail and safety orientation, and offers training for individuals with no prior PCB experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete work tasks daily, including handling chemicals such as alcohol and acrylics.
  • Work on microsections and apply knowledge of different microsections.
  • Test products and complete all associated documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and managers, suggest procedural changes, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, accidents, near‑misses, and other safety concerns.
  • Generate, accumulate, and manage hazardous waste as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager.
  • Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate fully in safety training.
  • Understand and follow directives identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.
Essential Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self‑motivation and ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Comfortable working with microscopes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small group setting (preferred).
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Previous microscope experience helpful.
Export Control Compliance

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC. This includes identifying ITAR products on the manufacturing floor, restricting access to US citizens and permanent residents, recognizing foreign visitors by badge differentiation, following authorization procedures for foreign visitors, understanding and applying export requirements for shipments leaving the US, and managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
