WORK FOUR DAYS A WEEK?! NO WEEKENDS? It’s true! W.S. Darley, a family-owned company established in 1908, is seeking qualified CNC Machinists to join the evening shift team. The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating, loading parts, proving programs, operating controls, setting offsets, deburring and inspecting quality parts for conformance to requirements, ensuring production rates are met or exceeded. The CNC Mill Machinist will use both Okuma and/or Mazak machines.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Occasional weekend work may be offered, but is never mandatory and overtime availability is based on production demands. Overtime is currently available for those looking for extra hours.
Essential Functions- Study and interpret drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances and set-up requirements.
- Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls or control media to ensure quality. Report all machine malfunctions to management.
- Communicate with management, production control, quality or other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Maintain organization of tooling and other equipment in the work area.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Accurately record time and job performance in the current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system(s).
- Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.

- Qualified CNC Machinist experience with Okuma and/or Mazak machines.
- Access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
