Extrusion Machine Operator - Assembly Worker
Extrusion Machine Operator Alliance Plastics – Chippewa Falls, WI Pay: $22.75/hour for 1st and 2nd shifts, $23.50/hour for 3rd shift.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, overtime available based on production needs.
Position Overview:
Alliance Plastics is seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our production team as Extrusion Machine Operators. Whether you're experienced in manufacturing or looking to start a new career, you'll receive hands-on training in operating plastic extrusion equipment while working in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment. What You'll Do:
- Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down plastic extrusion production lines.
- Load and mix raw materials for production.
- Monitor product quality and make machine adjustments as needed.
- Inspect products using calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Package, label, and palletize finished products.
- Operate secondary fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, punches, and routers.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work overtime when production demands require it.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required — training is provided.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read work instructions and use measuring tools.
- Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for the duration of your shift.
- Frequently bend, twist, reach, and lift.
- Push or pull loaded pallet jacks and production materials.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
