Extrusion Machine Operator - Assembly Worker
Extrusion Machine Operator Alliance Plastics – Chippewa Falls, WI Pay: $23.50/hour
Schedule:
Monday – Friday Overtime available based on production needs
Position Overview Alliance Plastics is seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our production team as Extrusion Machine Operators. Whether you're experienced in manufacturing or looking to start a new career, you'll receive hands-on training in operating plastic extrusion equipment while working in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment. What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, monitor, and shut down plastic extrusion production lines.
- Load and mix raw materials for production.
- Monitor product quality and make machine adjustments as needed.
- Inspect products using calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Package, label, and palletize finished products.
- Operate secondary fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, punches, and routers.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work overtime when production demands require it.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required —training is provided.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read work instructions and use measuring tools.
- Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for the duration of your shift.
- Frequently bend, twist, reach, and lift.
- Push or pull loaded pallet jacks and production materials.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
