Dry Lab Associate

A Dry Lab Associate plays a key role in the testing and documentation of printed circuit boards within the dry lab department, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete daily work assignments in the dry lab.
  • Work safely with chemicals such as alcohol and acrylics.
  • Handle micro‑sections and possess knowledge of various micro‑section types.
  • Conduct product testing and complete all required documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and managers, suggest procedural changes, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Report safety hazards, incidents, near misses, and other concerns.
  • Generate, accumulate, and dispose of hazardous wastes in accordance with Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager directions.
  • Participate fully in safety training and adhere to Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all safety procedures and alerts.
  • Use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) for all job duties.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in operating microscopes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small group setting (preferred).
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Prior microscope experience is helpful.
Export Compliance

The role requires strict adherence to TTM’s Export Control Policies and applicable U.S. laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC:

  • Identify ITAR products on the manufacturing floor and ensure access is limited to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
  • Recognize foreign visitors by badge differentiation.
  • Follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities.
  • Understand and comply with export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the U.S.
  • Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
