Dry Lab Associate
A Dry Lab Associate plays a key role in the testing and documentation of printed circuit boards within the dry lab department, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities- Prepare and complete daily work assignments in the dry lab.
- Work safely with chemicals such as alcohol and acrylics.
- Handle micro‑sections and possess knowledge of various micro‑section types.
- Conduct product testing and complete all required documentation.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and managers, suggest procedural changes, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Report safety hazards, incidents, near misses, and other concerns.
- Generate, accumulate, and dispose of hazardous wastes in accordance with Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager directions.
- Participate fully in safety training and adhere to Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all safety procedures and alerts.
- Use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) for all job duties.
- Attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in operating microscopes.
- Ability to work effectively in a small group setting (preferred).
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Prior microscope experience is helpful.
The role requires strict adherence to TTM’s Export Control Policies and applicable U.S. laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC:
- Identify ITAR products on the manufacturing floor and ensure access is limited to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
- Recognize foreign visitors by badge differentiation.
- Follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities.
- Understand and comply with export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the U.S.
- Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
