Mechanical Assembly 2nd Shift. This role is designed as onsite with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Family Definition: Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in product areas to meet production, quality, cost and predictability goals for production sites. Responsible for performing varied and general tasks involved in the manufacturing process, including, at the non-exempt level, basic manufacturing assembly; installation or processing of components, subsystems or systems; operation of basic hand tools and production machinery;

data compilation for reports. At the exempt level, may be responsible for customer design and software utilization.

Management Level Definition: Applies developed knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete a wide variety of difficult assignments. Requires a thorough understanding of general/technical aspects and performs moderately complex tasks. Works under limited supervision.

• Performs varied and general tasks of a transactional nature involving the manufacturing process with independent judgment.
• Follows detailed documentation and instructions to execute process-oriented tasks such as testing, inspecting or advanced rack building.
• Identifies simple to complex areas for process improvement and seeks limited guidance for resolution.
• Supports the training of new employees.
• Operates multiple machines and supports quality assurance.
• Controls and uses machinery and tools; selects correct processes and programs to run and assists with products through maturity life-cycle.
• Responsible for auditing materials and builds for quality assurance.
• Coordinates tasks within a team.
• Understands and executes to customer expectations (e.g., Customer to Order).
• Must be a US Citizen

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing operations.

• Fluency in English and local language.
• Strong mathematics and reading comprehension.
• Demonstrated physical capability and manual dexterity.
• Understanding of how to navigate tools and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and coordination skills.
• Multi-tasking ability.
• Technical knowledge specific to business function and segment.
• Basic computer software skills.
