Nyhus Enterprises is looking for dependable Production Line Workers to join our powder-coating team. This position supports our manual and automated production lines by preparing, hanging, inspecting, and packaging parts.

No two days are exactly the same. Team members may work in different areas of production depending on customer needs and the daily schedule. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm or 11:00am - 9:30pm Overtime:
Opportunities available on Fridays  Wage Information: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Read and follow work instructions, travelers, and production prints

Hang parts on manual or automated powder-coating lines

Count, mask, and prepare parts for production

Sand parts and use an air gun to remove debris or excess water

Place parts on and remove parts from the wash conveyor

Manually wash larger parts as needed

Move parts between stations using the production tracking system

Inspect finished parts for defects and quality concerns

Package completed parts according to work instructions

Perform light assembly work Assist in other departments as production needs change

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards

Complete general housekeeping duties, including sweeping floors and emptying trash

Follow all company safety rules and procedures

Requirements:
Ability to read and understand work instructions and basic prints

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Ability to manage multiple priorities and use time effectively

Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn

Basic mechanical ability

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to quality and workplace safety

Ability to stand, bend, and twist throughout an 8- to 10-hour shift

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Comfortable working in temperatures that may range from approximately 60 to 100 degrees
