Are you a compassionate and confident Registered Nurse looking for a rewarding career where you can make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our correctional healthcare team, providing quality medical care in a safe and secure environment.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients within a correctional healthcare setting.
Assess, triage, and respond to patient health concerns and medical requests.
Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions as ordered.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely, appropriate care.
Monitor patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.
Collaborate with providers, mental health professionals, custody staff, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Assist with sick call, follow-up appointments, and ongoing patient care.
Follow HIPAA guidelines, infection control standards, and all facility safety and security protocols.
QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Previous experience in correctional nursing, emergency department (ED), medical-surgical, long-term care (LTC), or behavioral health is preferred.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations.
Comfortable working in a secure correctional environment.
ScheduleMonday – Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
6:00am-230PM
1:30pm-10:00pm
