The Nurse Full-Time PM Shift role is an on-site position located in Chippewa Falls, WI, responsible for providing direct nursing care and support to residents during evening hours. This role includes assessing residents’ health status, administering medications and treatments, monitoring changes in condition, and documenting care in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, communicates with residents and families, and helps administer medications and treatments, coordinate care plans to promote safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.
Daily responsibilities also involve supervising support staff as needed, ensuring infection control practices, responding to urgent resident needs, and contributing to a respectful, person-centered environment that reflects the community’s commitment to veterans and their families.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Prior experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or veteran-focused healthcare settings preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills, with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work PM shifts consistently, collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, and communicate clearly with team members, residents and families.
- Commitment to person-centered care, respect for diverse backgrounds, and adherence to ethical and professional standards.
