Nurse Practitioner

Job Requirements
  • At least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required
  • Active Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner license required at time of submission
  • Current CPR certification required; in-person certification only
  • Ability to commit to the full scheduled assignment and work hours
  • Experience in corrections, correctional healthcare, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or community-based care is preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and professionalism in a structured care setting
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive advanced practice care to patients within a correctional treatment setting
  • Perform patient assessments, evaluations, and ongoing clinical management
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as appropriate
  • Document care accurately and maintain timely, compliant medical records
  • Support continuity of care and contribute to treatment-focused rehabilitation efforts
  • Follow facility protocols, clinical standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines
