Join our Festival Foods team as a Deli Hot Bar Cook! This position works in the Chippewa Falls store, part‑time with possible full‑time hours.

As a Deli Hot Bar Cook, you'll play a key part in enhancing breakfast, lunch, and dinner experiences for our guests by frying and preparing a variety of menu items including fried chicken, fried fish, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and potato wedges. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean hot bar, monitoring temperatures, and providing excellent guest service.

• Provide exceptional guest service, greeting guests and addressing concerns professionally.
• Assist guests in locating items and recommend deli selections.
• Ensure all hot‑bar items are garnished attractively and in compliance with safety protocols.
• Collect food temperatures, maintain hot‑food logs, and monitor quality standards.
• Organize, stock, clean, and label the hot bar efficiently.
• Address and resolve guest concerns using the boomerang principle.
• Maintain regular, timely attendance and give adequate notice for absences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience in fast food, deli, or restaurant environments; prior line‑cook experience helpful.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact tactfully with guests and personnel.
• Knowledge of food safety requirements and proper use of kitchen equipment (slicers, fryers, hot bar).
• Capacity to work at a fast pace, multitask, and maintain organization in a dynamic environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods.

• Work at a fast pace in different temperature zones (coolers, kitchen, freezer, sales floor).

This position is available for part‑time or full‑time hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Weekly pay for hourly associates, $1 premium on Sundays and holidays for part‑time employees, 1½ time on Sundays and holidays for full‑time employees.
