Production Associate - Lake Hallie

Overview

Goodwill NCW is a nonprofit organization with 28 retail stores across north-central Wisconsin. We are committed to transforming lives by eliminating barriers to employment and building skills for sustained employment and improved financial stability.

• Process new and donated items to meet production goals and use team lifts as needed.
• Sort and categorize items, identify items to send to e-Commerce according to guidelines, and safely separate and dispose of hazardous items.
• Determine price points and ticket items for visibility.
• Stage items to ensure fresh-to-the-floor products for customers.
• Operate power equipment (stacker, power pallet jack, tilt master, compactor, tipper, and forklift).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized backroom area; complete checklists and assist with general cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to proper operation of pallet jack and compactor (age 18+ and trained/checked off).
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with strong attention to detail (preferred).
• Basic math skills required.
• Experience operating power equipment (preferred).
• Experience with computers or willingness and ability to learn.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends, with regular and timely attendance according to the assigned schedule.

• Primary function requires sufficient physical ability to repeatedly: stand for prolonged periods (up to 8 hours).
• Independently twist, lift, carry, push or pull moderate (10 pounds) to heavy (25 pounds) weights; use a team lift for objects over 25 pounds.
• Reach up to approximately 54 inches.
• Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch.
• Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to perform detailed tasks.
• Verbally communicate to exchange information.
