Job Requirements
Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Crusher Plant Operator Heavy Equipment position within the Highway Department. The job duties include but are not limited to using a variety of heavy equipment for the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges and to provide responsive, courteous and efficient service to County residents and the public.
The heavy equipment may include the following:
- skid steer
- loader
- tractor loader
- tractor backhoe
- roller
- excavator
- bulldozer
- motor grader
- other assigned heavy construction equipment
Winter maintenance activities will be required for this position.
Other Experience and QualificationsMust be able to operate a variety of equipment relating to construction and maintenance of roads and bridges. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in heavy equipment operation on a routine basis.
- Experience on an aggregate crushing operation preferred.
- Road maintenance experience preferred.
- A cell phone is required.
