Are you passionate about helping individuals overcome addiction and build a brighter future? Join Lutheran Social Services as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor at L.E. Phillips
, a new 50-bed residential treatment program opening in 2026 in Chippewa Falls. This innovative program will provide substance use disorder treatment and restorative justice services for adults on their recovery journey.

Pay
  • SAC-IT: $22.75/hour
  • SAC: $26.00/hour
  • CSAC: $28.00/hour
What You ll Do
  • Provide individual and group substance use counseling services.
  • Complete assessments, screenings, referrals, and treatment planning.
  • Deliver case management and coordinate community support services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Support clients in achieving recovery, stability, and personal goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, training, and professional development.
What We re Looking For
  • Valid Wisconsin SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC credential
    .
  • Associate s degree in a human services or corrections-related field required; bachelor s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of addiction, recovery, counseling, and case management principles.
  • Experience working with justice-involved or correctional populations is preferred.
  • Valid driver s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications Education
Preferred

Associate Degree or better in AODA Counseling or related field.

Bachelor Degree or better in Hum. Serv. or Related Field.
