POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for performing a variety of routine to moderately complex work activities in accordance with general work instructions and established inventory practices. Performs various administrative and Fulfillment related tasks, and demonstrates effective and efficient performance in accordance with GNC quality and efficiency standards by performing the duties listed below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED.- Includes the verification of inbound material, handling and proper distribution of all paperwork, and tagging and tracking of on hand quantities.
- This involves communication via spreadsheets, word documents, and e-mails on any project specific information that is requested on a daily basis.
- Includes the communication of project specific quantities to fulfillment staff and the verification that quantities match those in GNC’s systems at least twice each month. Reports generated from this data are sent to the customer on a daily basis.
- Verifies and enters all month end balances into MIRS (customer’s inventory management program).
- Verifies and enters all daily production quantities into MIRS (customer’s inventory management program).
- This includes packaging this material back into master cases and preparing for shipment.
- Performs all UPS and Fed-Ex functions and utilizes all of the services these vendors provide.
- Monitor any quarantined lots and determine when/if they can be released back into the warehouse once they are reworked.
- Responsible for reordering all Kanban lot quantities and communicating all month end balances to the logistics manager.
- Works closely with and communicates effectively with account coordinators, customers, and personnel from other departments on all issues related to customer supplied inventories.
- Assists the fulfillment supervisors and logistics manager in determining how many temporary personnel are needed on each shift to support the receiving and storage of all customer supplied inventories.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Individual must possess:
High school diploma or equivalency and a minimum of two years inventory experience and/or associate degree preferred. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills; proficient computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; legible handwriting to record information and fill out forms; telephone etiquette skills; ability to perform mathematical calculations involving adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, decimals, and percentages; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks;
ability to solve problems; capable of dealing with deadline pressures.
This position will report on 2 nd shift. The hours for 2 nd shift hours are 2:30pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday.
