The Role …
At Soho House, a Room Service Operator is responsible for ensuring the consistency, quality and efficiency of all food and beverage service plus amenities for the guest and rooms. This is a hands-on, member-facing role requiring attention to detail, excellent customer service, and strong organisational skills.

Key Duties...
Take and process all room service orders promptly and accurately, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and service teams.
Maintain knowledge of all food, drink, and amenity offerings to confidently guide guest choices and upsell where appropriate.
Coordinate delivery times with floor teams to ensure timely service and exceptional presentation.
Follow up on guest requests and feedback to ensure satisfaction and resolution of any issues.
Ensure all telephone and digital communications are handled in a warm, professional, and efficient manner.
Keep the room service area, phone system, and service records organised and up to date.
Work closely with the kitchen, reception, housekeeping, and concierge teams to ensure smooth communication across departments.
Support the wider FB team when required and uphold Soho House standards at all times.
What we are looking for...
Up to 1-2 years’ experience in a busy hospitality venue, ideally from a room service background
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal and external)
Strong attention to details
Excellent customer service
Fluent in English
Organised and reliable
Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team
Computer literacy within Opera, Micros and Open Table are advantageous
Physical Requirements:
Must be over the age of 18
Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
