Are you an experienced equipment operator looking for a stable, hands-on role in the Oklahoma City metro area? Red Dirt Septic is hiring a Backhoe Operator to install septic systems for residential and commercial properties. You'll operate equipment for system installation, and work as part of a trusted team while staying local and getting home every night.

As a Backhoe Operator, you'll:
- Assist crew with the installation of septic systems.
- Maintain tools and supplies on trucks and keep in working condition.
- Drive vehicles to commercial and residential locations.
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
- Assist equipment operators with loading and unloading of equipment.
- Follow all safety and DOT guidelines, this is a safety-sensitive position
You're a fit for this role if you have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of equipment operating experience
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting, digging, and working in outdoor conditions
- Availability for occasional evening and weekend work
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Schedule: 1st shift, with overtime and weekend hours as needed
- Environment: Outdoor work around heavy machinery, exposed to heat, rain, and humidity
- Reliability: Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to job success
