Base pay range:
We’re growing, expanding and it’s happening fast. This role is for an electrician to work on short duration commercial projects. We are looking for more than one, a few in total. If you join us, you’ll own the job from start to finish, covering installation, testing and commissioning. Work may include planned and reactive maintenance of electrics at our sites.

You will be expected to maintain high standards and bring extensive experience to the role. The role involves staying away from home up to 4 nights a week. Accommodation, a meal allowance and an overnight premium are provided when away.

Location:

Northwest of England within easy reach of our Operations Hub near Preston.

• Basic salary of £37,500 plus guaranteed overnight premium of £5,000 (£42,500)

• Travel and work away from home up to four nights per week to complete electrical installations
• Carry out electrical installations on ANPR systems in line with customer specification and contractual requirements
• Preventative, periodic and reactive maintenance on existing electrics across our car park estate
• Problem solving, problem detection and repairing system faults using a logical approach
• Carry out testing on ANPR equipment
• Ensure safe working practices and adherence to Health & Safety regulations
• Liaising with clients/customers and other on-site trades to gather information required for the task
• Use a laptop or phone to send/receive emails, edit Word documents, use Teams and complete online training courses

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience within a comparable role after completion of electrical apprenticeship
• 18th Edition Electrical Certificate
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installation/Electrotechnical technology
• Competent in electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding
• Experience with containment systems and SWA
• Experience working with Electricity at Work Regulations and IEE Wiring Regulations
• A valid driving licence and ability to drive a company van
• Commercial/Industrial experience
• Understanding of single/three phase supplies and control equipment such as contractors
• Experience of testing and inspection
• Competent in working at height and using ladders and access platforms

• Inspection and testing
• Knowledge of IP addresses and configuration of networking hardware
• Experience in data networking/CAT 5 & 6
• Safe Working at Height
• CSCS Card

PLEASE NOTE THAT PROOF OF QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE REQUIRED UPON APPLICATION.

THIS ROLE IS UK WIDE; THEREFORE UP TO FOUR NIGHTS WORKING AWAY WILL BE REQUIRED.
