General Dentist - Scotia, CA

Compensation: $185,000 - $225,000 per year

• $50,000 signing bonus

NEXUS HR is looking for an experienced dentist for a federally qualified health center that provides Behavioral Health, Dental, and Medical services located in Humboldt County, a beautiful part of Northern California, and assisting us in continuing to provide a strong commitment to long‑term care for the whole family.

• Discuss with patients the best dental healthcare options.
• Discuss and educate patients on best oral care practices.
• Examine patients’ teeth and oral cavities, diagnose and recommend procedures as needed.
• Document and maintain accurate records of a patient’s dental health history.
• Operate dental equipment as needed.
• Perform tooth extractions and other basic dental procedures such as filling cavities.
• Perform root canals and other more complex dental procedures.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists as needed.
• Perform root canals, including molar root canals.

• Doctorate in dental medicine or dental surgery
• At least 2-year experience in dentistry or GPR
• Dental License
• DEA license without restriction
• Licensed to practice in California
• Comfortable treating patients of all ages
• Active participation in continued medical education and membership to a professional organization is highly preferred
• Able to work on‑site full‑time
• Authorized to work in the US
