Coordinator Of Curriculum And Instruction
The Coordinator of Curriculum and Instruction serves as a district instructional specialist who supports the implementation of curriculum, instructional initiatives, literacy programs, Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), assessment systems, and continuous improvement efforts across the District. The Coordinator works collaboratively with teachers, Academic Coaches, site administrators, and district leadership to strengthen instructional practices, improve student achievement, and ensure alignment with district goals, state standards, and educational best practices.
The Coordinator works alongside Academic Coaches to support district instructional priorities, facilitate collaboration, and promote consistency in instructional practices and student support systems throughout the District.
-Valid California Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Education Specialist Teaching Credential
-Minimum of five years of successful classroom teaching experience
-Must successfully pass a Department of Justice (D.O.J.) background check
-Must pass a tuberculosis (TB) test clearance
-Valid California Driver's License
Knowledge of California State Standards, instructional frameworks, PLC practices, literacy instruction, assessment systems, and effective instructional strategies
-Ability to build collaborative relationships, facilitate adult learning, analyze data, manage multiple projects, and support continuous improvement efforts across schools
