Job Title

Eff ective October 1, 2025, in accordan ce with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 18, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and shall be split between the two pay periods within the Calendar month and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly for at least 16 months.

Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.

Under the direction of the Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) or Supervising Registered Nurse (SRN) III, Correctional Facility (CF), and in collaboration with the SRN II, (CF) the Unit Supervisor (US) (Safety) is responsible for planning, assigning, supervising, and evaluating the work of nursing and other assigned staff in a mental health service line delivery area. The US (Safety) receives, disseminates, implements, and monitors the adherence to policies and procedures, applies supervisory rules and principles, resolves personnel issues, sets goals for self and others, and ensures the continuity of quality patient care.
