** Join us as a Specialist Operator in our Christchurch based Construction team!
** We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced specialist operator to join our Christchurch construction team. In this role, you will be seen as an all-rounder, operating a variety of specialist machinery related to civil and roading works, to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard.
** In a
**** ddition to the above you will:
*** Operate a variety of plant and machinery to complete all tasks assigned, including 5-30 tonne excavators, rollers, skid steers and loaders.
* Interpret plans and specifications to deliver exceptional results.
* Assist the team with general labouring duties as and when required.
* Complete machinery checks as and when required.
* Monitor plant maintenance, keeping timely and well organised records.

** We’re*
* ** looking for someone with:*
* * A Class 2 Licence (Class 4 advantageous)
* WTR Endorsements
* Significant experience operating a variety of civil construction machinery, e.g. 5-30 tonne excavators, rollers, skid steers and loaders.
* The ability to interpret relevant plans and specifications.
* A Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the civil construction industry or similar.
* Flexibility to perform various daily tasks, including getting on the shovel when needed!
* A proactive approach to health and safety - it’s our #1 priority!
* A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and upskill.
