Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

Location: Christchurch, Dorset

Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday Only | No Weekends

The Role

As an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you'll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard, helping maintain the excellent reputation the business has built with its loyal customer base.

Your duties will include:
  • Vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
  • Mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Class 4 MOT testing (if qualified)
  • Vehicle health checks
  • Brakes, suspension and steering repairs
  • Timing belts, clutches and general workshop repairs
  • Completing all work to the highest standard
About You

We're looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in producing quality work.

You'll ideally have:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • MOT Tester licence preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Car Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • A positive attitude and excellent attention to detail
