Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist in Christiansburg, VA

Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care? We are looking for an experienced Physician to provide exceptional obstetric hospitalist services in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Required Skills:

Active State Medical License with OB Hospitalist certification

Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist services

Ability to handle emergent OB GYN cases efficiently

Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities

Familiarity with inpatient obstetric and gynecological care protocols

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience in high-volume delivery settings

Knowledge of NICU operations and neonatal care coordination

Prior experience working with multidisciplinary teams

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Preferred

Education and Experience:

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Minimum of 2 years' experience in OB hospitalist roles or similar settings

Other Requirements:

Availability to start on 02/01/2026

Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

All necessary licensure, certifications, and travel reimbursements provided as applicable
