Work location:

Christiansburg, VA (Onsite). Reporting to:
Manager, Quality Assurance.

• Support Moog Christiansburg’s automation and test activities.
• Develop written procedures based on customer requirements and direction from engineering staff to support automation and test devices and programs.
• Coordinate data collection and presentation.
• Ensure basic safety practices in day‑to‑day work.
• Assist in training/cross‑training of others.
• Active participant in Continuous Improvement Process.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Robotics/Mechatronics, or related experience.
• Experience in LabVIEW for test automation, data acquisition, or system control.
• Foundational knowledge of electronics and low‑power electrical circuits.
• Demonstrated hands‑on proficiency working with tools, machinery, and technical equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
• Familiarity with SQL database (Structured Query Language).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with a collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in circuit design and related electronic systems.
• Experience or strong interest in robotics, automation, and mechatronics.
• Working knowledge of the C++ programming language.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.

Salary Range (Christiansburg, VA): $65,000.00–$80,000.00 annually. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region‑specific benefits.
