The certified registered nurse anesthetist plans and administers anesthesia and related care to patients upon request by patient's physician to facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical or obstetrical procedures, according to the standards and principles of anesthesiology.

We are seeking a CRNA to join our collaborative anesthesia team at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, Virginia—a Level III trauma center serving the New River Valley, where high-quality care, teamwork, and a people-first culture go hand in hand.
