The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for substitute School Nurse positions that may be available within our division for the  School Year.

The School Nurse will assist the Lead Nurse in the organization, administration, and implementation of school health services and will function as a contributing member of the school health team.

• Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Virginia or Current license to practice as a licensed professional nurse in Virginia
• Current certification in CPR and First Aid
• Dependability and punctuality required

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• One year of recent nursing experience
• Previous experience in public health or general nursing; preferably in school nursing or community health nursing with children

Non-exempt

$28.53/hour (LPN: $29.95/hour RN, salary may change due to  budget considerations)
