Part-Time Merchandise Associate

Home Goods, a division of Widgets Co, is seeking a Part-Time Merchandise Associate to support our high-volume retail environment in the manufacturing-based home goods sector. In this role, you'll receive, stock, and organize merchandise, maintain visually appealing displays, and help ensure a clean, safe shopping experience. You'll work closely with a collaborative team, following merchandising standards and inventory procedures while offering friendly assistance to customers.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise on sales floor and backroom
• Organize and replenish shelves, racks, and display fixtures
• Ensure product pricing, signage, and labels are accurate and visible
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized sales and stock areas
• Assist with setting and updating visual merchandising displays
• Support inventory counts and loss prevention procedures
• Provide basic customer assistance and direct shoppers to products
• Follow company safety and handling guidelines for merchandise
• Collaborate with team to meet daily merchandising goals
• Assist with opening, closing, and floor reset tasks as needed
