We’re growing and looking for a reliable, hands‑on Fire Suppression & Extinguisher Technician to join our team in Pocatello. What You’ll Do:
  • Inspect and maintain commercial kitchen fire suppression systems (annual and semi-annual).
  • Service and recharge all types of portable fire extinguishers.
  • Test and maintain emergency and exit lighting systems.
  • Diagnose issues, make repairs, and ensure all systems meet NFPA standards.
  • Use a company-provided iPad to complete inspection reports and daily paperwork.

Requirements

What You Bring:
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Comfort using iPads and mobile reporting tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Willingness to travel overnight occasionally and work overtime when needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, and work on ladders for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all seasons.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds safely.
