Description
Applications for Part-Time, Adjunct Instructor pools are continually accepted (unless otherwise specified) by the District and will be added to the application pool for review by hiring authorities on an as-needed basis. Should you be invited for an interview, you will be contacted by a District representative.
Southwestern College is looking to hire a part-time instructor to teach Automotive Technology instructors to teach a variety of subjects such as Basic Automotive Service, Auto Science, Braking Systems, Suspension/Alignment, Electrical Systems, Auto Heating/Hair Conditioning, Engine Repair, Transmissions, Electric Vehicles and Auto Emission Systems (SMOG)
Class modality is face-to face and includes lecture and lab.
Qualifications
Any bachelor's degree or higher AND two (2) years of professional experience ORany Associate degree AND six (6) years of professional experience.
Additional assessment is required for Applicants with foreign degrees from colleges or universities outside of the United States must have their coursework evaluated by a professional association that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services(NACES) or Academic Credentials Evaluation Institute, INC.(ACEI). A copy of the evaluation must be submitted with your on-line application.
