Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist contract position is available in Chula Vista, CA, supporting a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This role involves applying psychological principles to assess and support student learning and well-being within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and intervention services to support student mental health needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives for student support.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with district and legal guidelines.

  • Valid credential or license as a school psychologist.
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments in educational settings.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
