Position Overview

Special Education Teacher for the 2025/26 school year in Chula Vista, CA.

• Salary: $2210 per week (weekly pay via direct deposit)

• Provide quality educational services to special education students kindergarten through grade 12.
• Collaborate with the Special Education Program Administrator and general education staff to plan and implement student programs.
• Deliver special instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation with general education staff.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
• Valid state teaching certificate required by state contract/district regulations.
• At least one year of teaching experience in a classroom (preferred).
• Teacher Certification – Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special (preferred).
• Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement (LBS1) preferred.
• Current CPR certification, if applicable.
• Completed TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x‑ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
