Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Incorporate Engineering changes supporting manufacturing and purchasing activity.
• Support the Chula Vista Service Center with planning and manufacturing, procurement, and floor support.
• Innovate and design new tools to improve current manufacturing processes.
• Review and commit airline customer orders and requests for quotes.
• Write Engineering Change Requests.
• Write tool orders to make new, alter and repair manufacturing tools.
• Support procurement and suppliers of flight items by resolving questions related to engineer, material, tooling, and manufacturing problems.
• Improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop tools to improve quality and reduce cycle time.
