Engineering Technician
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assembles and/or modifies thru hole and SMT technology electronics circuits, on and not on PCBAs.
- Conducts electrical testing of power supplies with the Engineering group on test bench. Performs minor assembly of product or equipment if required.
- Works with engineering group to complete required task and activities.
- Compiles test data from performed testing and reports and reviews test results with engineers.
- Performs Qualification and Design Verification Testing for new and existing products
- Confers with Engineering, and other technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or equipment issues, malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation.
- Analyzes indicated and calculated test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives and modifies or adjusts equipment to meet specifications.
- Records test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test method.
- Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design proposals for improving equipment performance or other factors, or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control.

SALARY RANGE
The starting annual base pay for the role is between USD $55,000 and $80,000. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A.
A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing software.

Skills and Abilities
Must work independent with minimal supervision.
Other Qualifications
Knowledge of Electronic test techniques and equipment.
Knowledge of DC, AC and analog circuits a must. Soldering skills with both thru hole and SMT, on and off PCBAs, and Pb and Pb-free solders.
