Police Officer
City of Lompoc seeks police trainee to participate in a basic POST-approved training program under supervision. Incumbents remain in probation and must complete basic POST Academy to qualify as Police Officer. This non-sworn class has no peace officer powers and focuses on training and evaluation.
Applicants must meet minimum age, U.S. citizenship or eligible permanent resident status, pass background and medical/psychological screenings, and comply with all pre-employment requirements.
