Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Medical Weight Control Clinic — Chula Vista & El Cajon, CA

Pay: $32.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and personable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our medical weight management team at our Chula Vista and El Cajon locations.

Our clinics provide medically supervised weight management services in a friendly, patient-focused outpatient environment. We are looking for a nurse who enjoys working directly with patients, communicates well, and can become a reliable part of our clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and compassionate patient care within RN/LVN scope of practice
• Obtain and document vital signs, weight, and other patient information
• Assist with medically supervised weight management programs
• Administer medications and injections as ordered and permitted within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Educate patients regarding provider-directed treatment plans and clinic procedures
• Follow infection-control, medication-handling, and patient-safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with physicians, providers, clinical staff, and front-office staff
• Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional clinic environment

Qualifications

• Current and active California RN or LVN license
• Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing/clinical experience required
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and professional
• Comfortable working directly with patients in an outpatient setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in medical weight management, wellness, primary care, outpatient medicine, or medication/injection administration is a plus.

Schedule: Part-time hours; specific days and hours discussed during the interview.
