Job Description:

L3 Harris is seeking an experienced Quality Technician B to join our Chula Vista, CA team.

Essential Functions:

Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to procedures, materials, and technical instructions.
Perform regular inspections of work areas and other quality assessments.
Attend production meetings for updates on job progress and work with shop leads to address issues.
Review and finalize records at the conclusion of each work package for storage.
Maintain equipment and ensure calibration for testing.
Collaborate with other Quality Assurance Technician as needed.
Support quality control initiatives.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a 2‑year post‑secondary/associate’s degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
3 to 4 years of quality or technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient in blueprint reading and QA systems.
Proficient in reading electrical schematics and thorough understanding of electrical/electronic test results.
Knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Salary & Benefits:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $47,500 - $88,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
