Social Worker | Chula Vista, California

Make a meaningful impact serving K-12 students for the entire  academic year as a dedicated social worker in a busy, supportive school environment. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work directly with students, teachers, and families to foster positive, inclusive learning communities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about student welfare, skilled in implementing evidence-based interventions, and comfortable collaborating in a multidisciplinary team across multiple grade levels.

• Masters degree in Social Work or related field (MSW required)
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
• Prior experience supporting K-12 students within a school setting
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and crisis intervention
• Excellent communication, case management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families from diverse backgrounds
• Familiarity with IEP processes and developing individualized plans is a plus

• Conduct individual and group counseling to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to address barriers to student success
• Support the development and implementation of intervention programs
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, IEPs, and professional development
• Maintain accurate, confidential records for all assigned students
• Advocate for students well-being and access to resources within the school community
