Position: Special Education Teacher *Up to $55/hr

Special Education Teacher providing individualized instruction to students with diverse needs in a 36‑week assignment in Cibolo, Texas. Responsible for IEP planning, classroom management, and collaboration with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse needs, ensuring adherence to IEP goals and educational standards

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to develop effective learning plans and behavioral strategies

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, conduct assessments, and prepare reports for compliance and review

Execute classroom management techniques to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Execute and modify lesson plans based on student progress and dynamic classroom needs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
Valid State Teaching Certification in Special Education
CPR and First Aid certifications
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a special education setting
Experience working with diverse student needs and inclusive education practices
Ability to handle physical demands of classroom activities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate with staff and parents
