Position: Special Education Teacher *Up to $55/hr

Special Education Teacher providing individualized instruction to students with diverse needs in a 36‑week assignment in Cibolo, Texas. Responsible for IEP planning, classroom management, and collaboration with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse needs, ensuring adherence to IEP goals and educational standards
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to develop effective learning plans and behavioral strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, conduct assessments, and prepare reports for compliance and review
  • Execute classroom management techniques to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Execute and modify lesson plans based on student progress and dynamic classroom needs
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
    • Valid State Teaching Certification in Special Education
    • CPR and First Aid certifications
    • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a special education setting
    • Experience working with diverse student needs and inclusive education practices
    • Ability to handle physical demands of classroom activities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to collaborate with staff and parents
