WhatYou Bring
- Bachelors degree in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education (Masters preferred)
- Current Educator Certification in DHH (required)
- Proficiency in American Sign Language, with demonstration during the interview
- Experience teaching either Math or Core English
- Track record as a collaborative, adaptable educator
- References and copies of certifications/licenses available for submission
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction to elementary, middle, or high school students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Modify and differentiate lessons in Math or Core English to meet individual student needs
- Facilitate communication in the classroom using ASL and support language development
- Collaborate with support staff, specialists, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain clear, consistent documentation and participate in IEP/504 meetings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
- Travel to assigned school locations within the district, as needed
