Overview
The purpose of this position is to prevent crime and enforce state and local laws.
Responsibilities- Perform patrol duties.
- Respond to emergency calls and routine complaints.
- Perform traffic enforcement.
- Conduct traffic investigations.
- Perform related administrative duties.
- Testify in court.
- Serve in plain clothes/undercover operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Peace Officer License from TCOLE or candidate in the final phase of the Police Officer Academy.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
- Applicants are subject to pre‑employment screening/testing, including but not limited to thorough background investigations, psychological, physical, and drug testing.
- Must be willing to work 12‑hour shifts and holidays.
