Critical Care Registered Nurse | Cibolo, Texas

A skilled registered nurse with ICU experience is needed for a contract assignment in Cibolo, TX. This opportunity offers the chance to provide critical care in a fast-paced environment, serving patients who require expert monitoring and intervention.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years hospital or specialty experience in ICU or telemetry units
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and managing various IV drips
• Experience with electronic medical records, preferably Meditech
• Ability and willingness to float to different units as needed

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care with an approximate 4:1 patient ratio in an overflow emergency department hold unit
• Administer treatments and medications following established protocols
• Monitor patient status continuously and document accurately using Meditech
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding appearance, attendance, and patient safety

Schedule:

• Full-time, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Rotating weekends; no mandatory call
• Approximate guaranteed 36 hours/week
• Assignment length: 13 weeks
