Job Summary and Qualifications
The RT Supervisor will be responsible to supervise their assigned shift. Develops the work schedules, assesses workloads and ensures adequate staffing levels. Actively works on developing staff improve patient care and professional skills. Makes customer service an important aspect of their supervision by resolving patient, physician, and intra-department concerns.
Essential Job FunctionsHas fulfilled the educational requirements for qualification as a Respiratory Therapist, and has satisfactorily completed the examination to demonstrate professional competence in the field.
Minimum License and Certificates RequiredPediatric Supervisors must complete PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire.
