Clinical Nurse Coordinator Oncology RN

Job Summary

The Oncology Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with established policies and procedures, the CNC serves as a resource person for staff and models a commitment to the organization’s vision and mission.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient‑centered care.
• Reflect core values when interacting with co‑workers, patients, family members, and the community to foster an engaged workforce and unparalleled patient care.
• Lead in a way that inspires commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values.
• Represent the organization positively within the community; participate in company‑supported community and patient events and in‑services.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
• 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility, and department/unit specific to the patient population served.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing and 3 years of healthcare experience.
