Job SummaryThe Quality Control Team Member is responsible for the inspection and measurement of automatic transmission parts to ensure they meet specifications.
What You Will Do- Read and interpret part dimensional features from engineering drawings then render judgement.
- Responsible for ensuring flow of quality‑assured parts to support high volume production
- Adhere to Standard Work Instructions (SWI)
- Maintain professional, harmonious relations with other employees
- Continuously interface with supervisors to communicate problems and develop solutions
- Accurately record and report inspection and measurement results.
- Continuously train and develop new skills
- Analyze and continuously improve processes to increase overall efficiency (Kaizen)
- Responsible for effective communication to supervisors by use of Stop, Call, and Wait methodology
- Maintain quarantine areas
- Interface with, and support, Quality Assurance Specialists for investigations
- Ensure mission‑ready status of assigned process equipment (Pre‑Use Inspections and calibration)
