Responsibilities- Serve as the primary quality contact for assigned customers, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and addressing quality‑related concerns.
- Lead PPAP submissions and customer approval processes in accordance with AIAG standards, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop PFMEAs, control plans, and quality controls during new product launches and process changes.
- Analyze quality data, maintain SPC charts, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
- Investigate customer returns, field failures, and internal defects, providing root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations.
- Conduct internal process audits and support compliance with quality management systems, including IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues, implement containment actions, and validate corrective measures through closure.
- Prepare quality reports, management review materials, and performance metrics while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and company objectives.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and a background check.
- Bachelor’s degree desired in Supply Chain Management (or related field) with 5+ years of quality experience in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in PPAP requirements, root cause analysis, and data reporting (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work hands‑on in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in cross‑cultural work settings and automotive quality engineering is a plus.
