This independent CPA firm in Buffalo Grove keeps the usual week around 40 hours. Busy season is generally around 50, occasionally 55. And when something comes up at home, you're working with people who understand.

You'll work remotely, with a small audit team you'll get to know properly. Regular conversations, a weekly catch up and firm events keep everyone connected.

You can take ownership here. And there's room to move up.

You'll run audits from start to finish, working closely with the department lead. He wants to build a Manager layer as the team grows, so there's an opportunity to take on more responsibility and grow your compensation with it.

A large part of the work is condo and homeowners association audits, alongside clients in manufacturing and other privately held businesses. The association audits tend to be straightforward and efficient, rather than engagements that drag on for months.

Never worked on those before? They're happy to teach you.

You'll bring around 3 to 4 years of public accounting audit experience, including privately held businesses, and the confidence to see an audit through from planning to completion.

More experienced? They're open to discussing a higher salary if your background fits.
